Flagstaff

We left Santa Fe in the snow. We have driven 10,000 miles to avoid cold weather but I guess it has caught up with us. We decided since it was snowing and the van wasn't doing so well to not go to the Grand Canyon and headed towards Prescott. Once we were south of Flagstaff a bit the snow stopped and we had a beautiful drive going through Sedona and south on highway 89. We stopped in Prescott for a bit and then went to find a campground. The campgrounds were still full of snow so we kept driving. It was a long drive through some pretty tall mountains. We ended up in Parker, AZ on the Colorado River in a campground. It was 86 degrees when we got there at about 4pm.

Hi Brenda and Jimmy - I'm here working on a Saturday :( Lee's sister and brother-in-law live in Havasu in the winter. Our Oyster Roast event is next Sunday. Sure will be glad when it's done!
